For the opaque, this scanner is fast, loses nothing of the details, and not much of the chroma of the original. A quick run through PhotoShop allows a perfect result. For transparencies, scanning up to 2400 dpi is sufficient for common use. The 6400 dpi are discussed, in my view, fanciful... But the other "scann flat" are not better. Only downside : the scanning time is quite long... but the automatic (scan multiple, etc.) are very effective. Defect not mentioned in the trials. It still lacks a band at the top or bottom. Therefore the slides and frames are not, it is missing the peaks, the faces are cut off or missing feet....... It is suitable for landscape shots, or wide. Otherwise cropping is necessary.. Enough, but don't expect wonders, especially with negatives that are a bit old and scratched (the slide is better protected is better).
